I’ve always been fond of music and especially music with a upbeat tempo and melody. It’s amazing really how some music, if you let it, can lift the spirit and inspire hope.
Optimism and hope have been found to be significant factors in overcoming hardship, including cardiovascular disease. I won’t review what Dr. Davis has written about the importance optimism and hope in this post. It can be difficult sometimes to generate the psychic resources required to overcome adversity. So, if upbeat music can be harnessed to assist in establishing a positive psychic state then, I say, that’s all for the better.
This doesn’t mean that hope is blind faith. There are many good reasons to be hopeful based on just a few of the testimonials at the Track Your Plaque site.
